SEFCU’s Monopoly Tournament to benefit Center for Disability Services |

SEFCU’s Monopoly Tournament will be held on Tuesday, May 8 and over 250 people including community members, SEFCU employees, and business partners will play in the 2012 Monopoly Tournament. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Center for Disability Services.
According to a statement, since the event’s inception, more than $140,000 has been raised and to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the tournament, additional prizes will be awarded including:
Tournament winner – This person will receive $5,000 to donate to a local charity of his/her choice and a one-of-a-kind trophy.
Top three finalists – These players will receive $2,000 each to donate to a local charity of their choice.
Mogul champion – Businesses will compete against each other to take the top prize and the one that comes out on top will receive $5,000 to donate to a local charity of their choice.
Non-profit champion – The non-profit group that earns the most money will earn $5,000 for their charity.
Most money raised – The person who raises the most money for this fundraising event will earn $2,000 to donate to a local charity of his/her choice.
Random drawings – Four lucky players will earn $500 to donate to a local charity of his/her choice.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Albany Marriott located at 189 Wolf Road in Albany. The Center for Disability Services helps provide funding to empower people, especially those with disabilities to lead healthy and enriched lives.
