Police called after 'Acid Bomb' found in Latham
The bomb squad was called to a residence in Latham this afternoon after police say an acid bomb exploded on the front lawn.
It happened at 28 Verdun Street. Police say one bottle had exploded, another had not.
They say these types of bombs are not deadly.
They cause a popping noise and give off some smoke.
No one was hurt.
Police say the homeowners were out of town.
No word yet on who made them or if any charges will be filed.
