SHS students to launch balloon into space | Events

On Thursday, June 14, students of the Shaker High School Principles of Engineering class will be launching a space capsule and a helium balloon into outer space.

The goal of the project is to practice the students’ knowledge of math, science, and technology by designing a capsule that will carry electronic equipment into space.

The launch will take at 7 a.m. on the Shaker High School campus.
