Applications available for Civilian Police Academy | News

The Town of Colonie has announced the annual Civilian Police Academy which will begin Tuesday, March 20 and commence on Tuesday, May 15.

The program is nine weeks long and will be held every Tuesday until commencement. There will be nine classroom sessions and opportunities to be exposed to patrol rides, criminal court and other police duties and activities.

Colonie residents or people who work within the town are eligible to apply for the program. The class size limit is 20 people and they will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
