LATHAM, N.Y. (AP) - A ceremony is scheduled to honor 32 soldiers from New York's Army National Guard and one member of the state Naval Militia who've died in combat zones since the 9/11 attacks.

The state Division of Military and Naval Affairs says the event at 11 a.m. Thursday will be at its headquarters in Latham.

It says almost 9,000 Guard members have served in the Iraq or Afghanistan wars. The ceremony will honor those who died in combat, accidents or from other causes.
