NYers feeling better about economy | News

LOUDONVILLE - New Yorkers are feeling better about the economy compared to the rest of the country, even though consumer confidence dipped last month.

The Siena Research Institute released its latest report Thursday morning. New York's confidence fell two points in June, while the national level fell six points.

Researchers say the nation is more satisfied with the present, while New Yorkers are more optimistic about the future.
