QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say an Loudonville man has escaped serious injuries after his single-engine airplane crashed and flipped over while landing at an airport in Queensbury.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office says 53-year-old John Mulcahy of Loudonville was landing a 2008 Cessna 206 around 7:15 p.m. Monday at Floyd Bennett Airport in Queensbury when the plane left the runway and overturned in a grassy area.
Mulcahy suffered a hand injury and was treated at Glens Falls Hospital. He was the only person on board the plane.
Officials say the cause of the crash is being investigated.
