Police prepare to handle crowds at new Trader Joe’s | News

COLONIE - Colonie police are getting ready to handle the crowds expected to clog up a stretch of Wolf Road when Trader Joe's opens Friday morning.

Here is a first look at the inside of the store in Colonie.

Authorities say there is some concern the parking lot won't be big enough to accommodate the rush of new shoppers.

Three officers will be on hand for the weekend, and two officers be there for 10 days after that.
