Green & yellow people appear in front of Colonie Center

These oddly-dressed people were spotted in front of the LL Bean store at Colonie Center earlier today.

We called LL Bean, but they said the curiously clothed folks had nothing to do with their store.

The reason for the green and yellow getups remains a mystery. Anyone out there know what this was about?

Witch fired from TSA

COLONIE - During her time as a TSA worker at Albany International Airport, Carole Smith says she was able to laugh off a lot of the comments.

"Comments were made about wearing a robe and magic wand and a pointed hat and all that stuff to work or, where did I park my broom, stuff like that," said Smith.

Smith is Wiccan, a religious and modern form of witchcraft.  She says one worker even said she was scared of her.

"That I cast a spell on the heater of her car."

But the comments Smith says grew into harassment.

"If I would call for a bag check on x-ray I couldn't get anyone to come over.  One of the supervisors would have to send someone over to the check."

Americans desire time travel, mind reading powers

Americans desire time travel, mind reading powers

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) - Being able to fly would be nice, so would invisibility. But given a chance to pick one superpower, more Americans say they would want to travel through time or read other people's minds.

Time travel and mind reading tied for first place in a Marist College poll released Tuesday. Both superpowers received 28 percent of the votes out of five choices. Flying came in third followed by the ability to teleport and invisibility.

Pollsters surveyed 1,020 people across the country Nov. 15 through Nov. 18. The margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points.
